Please make sure your costume is not too overtly sexual. The attendance is generally mixed, and children – while not common – may be present. A good measurement on whether your costume is acceptable or not is the following: Could you, in your costume, be in close proximity to a child and not have the child’s parents (who you don’t personally know) concerned or feeling anxious? If they would likely feel concerned or anxious, then the costume would not likely be appropriate for the party.
